Shopify's own migration guide says historical purchase orders can't be imported and suppliers can't be exported. So the moment Stocky stops, years of ordering history and your whole supplier list stop being answerable questions. The part people find out too late
Shopify's own migration carries your stock levels and your cost per item across. It does not carry your purchase orders — Shopify says so itself. Ops Console loads your exported Stocky PO reports as real purchase orders you can query, alongside your cost prices and the supplier list Stocky won't export. Most merchants find the gap in September, once the export window has already closed.

Shopify ends Stocky on 31 August 2026. Its APIs stop the same day, and it was already delisted from the App Store on 2 February 2026, so it can't be reinstalled. Shopify gives read-only access to export your data for at least 90 days after that.

Not directly — Shopify's guide states that suppliers can't be exported from Stocky. Most merchants rebuild the list from their purchase-order reports, which do export. Ops Console takes that supplier CSV and keeps contacts, lead times and payment terms attached to every PO.
No install and no OAuth consent screen. You paste a read-only Custom App API key you generate in your own Shopify admin, so Ops Console can read products, orders, inventory and fulfilments and nothing else. Receiving stock against a PO is the one write, and it only asks for that permission if you use the inventory module.
Two things outright, and one we're mid-way through. Outright: the in-POS admin UI and the stocktake workflow — Ops Console is a browser app with no Shopify POS extension and no stocktake or cycle-count feature, so counting happens in Shopify admin or POS. Mid-way: barcode receiving. Today receiving is typed; browser-based scan-to-receive is in development and unreleased, so don't choose us on it yet. We also don't print barcode labels, don't split a purchase order across multiple invoices, don't do landed-cost adjustments, and don't let you pick your own report columns.
